milma is the trade mark of the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd, which is the apex Co-op of three regional milk Unions viz. Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Malabar. It is milk producer Co-operative formed under operation flood project – II with technical and financial assistance from National Dairy Development Board.


What is the role of milma in Dairy Sector?

milma's role essentially is to procure the marketable surplus of milk produced rurally and market it to fetch maximum return for its milk producer members.


Why is milma marketing different kinds of milk ?

Each milk is having its specific user segment. eg: milma rich for tea making segment, high energy milk. Double Toned milk for health conscious segment required to reduce fat intake in diet, curd making, etc.
